Martial Arts Programs in Cheyenne, Wyoming

The Forge teaches four martial arts disciplines under one roof in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Every program is included in the single $125-a-month membership, so students can mix traditional martial arts with practical self-defense as they grow. Classes are open to kids 5+, teens, and adults.

What is Shaolin Kung Fu?

Shaolin Kung Fu is the original Chinese martial art developed at the Shaolin Monastery in Henan Province around 1,500 years ago. It influenced karate, taekwondo, and most East Asian striking arts. Forms (tao lu), conditioning, internal practice, and weapons training. What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is the official self-defense and combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces, developed by Imi Lichtenfeld in the 1940s. What is ITF Taekwondo?

International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) Taekwondo is the original style founded by General Choi Hong-Hi in 1955, emphasizing traditional forms (tul), self-defense application, and full-contact sparring. The Forge teaches ITF Taekwondo for kids, teens, and adults — full belt progression and tournament prep available. See the Taekwondo program details.

What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai is the national sport and martial art of Thailand. Called "the art of eight limbs" because it uses fists, elbows, knees, and shins as striking weapons, plus a sophisticated clinch fighting system. Pad work, technique, conditioning. Sparring is optional. See the Muay Thai program details.

Which programs are right for which ages?

Kids 5-12 train in the Little Legends program (Mon/Wed/Fri 5:30 PM) — a Kung Fu and Taekwondo blend with anti-bullying curriculum. Teens 13-17 can train in every program. Adults typically start with Adults Traditional (6:30 PM) for traditional martial arts or Krav Maga (7:30 PM) for self-defense.
